Portobello beach studio. Climbing deeper into “the box” discovering randomisation triggers in Ableton and putting it to unexpected track construction on ICSLY.

Alasdair Wallace sent me various Sidney Devine samples he made using a cheap zoom sampler. Sidney Devine is central belt stone cold rhinestone country. He defined crass as I was growing up. Crass that ironically morphed into regurgitated immense grief at the loss of loved ones. 
At this point I am a single parent supporting my son Samuel who took this photograph age 8.

I was working two jobs. My regular 9-5 job as an archival photographer and three nights a week invigilating a library search room 5-8 p.m. for four and a half years. This was just to stay afloat keep my nose above the water, pay the bills and provide for my son. It was a long haul.
